It's Paper Arms / Arrows Reunion 2026

Born in Adelaide in 2008, Paper Arms became a part of an Australian scene that was quietly reshaping itself. Centred around Poison City Records, there was a sense that something new was happening. Something melodic, earnest, and grounded in community. Paper Arms released three studio albums, toured relentlessly, and chalked up three laps of Europe before calling it a day in 2016. A decade later, the melody, intensity and sincerity of those songs lives on. And for one night, Paper Arms will too.
In parallel, Brisbane’s Arrows were carving out their own lane. Through Hobbledehoy Records, they were part of a renaissance that re-centred a more patient, textural, and introspective sound, drawing from early ’90s emo, shoegaze, and post-rock. Arrows’ music was understated but heavy, emotional without theatrics, and distinctly Australian. With multiple releases, national tours, and a fiercely loyal following - particularly in Melbourne - their influence has outlasted their active years.
These two worlds orbited each other for a long time. On March 21, they finally share the stage again.
Opening the night is Sidesplitter. Melbourne punk, fast, direct, and unapologetic.
